Vicki Reed's Fight to beat Cancer's Butt!!!

This is one of those messages that no one looks forward to writing. My name is Brandon Reed and I am the son of an amazing woman named Vicki Reed. My mother was diagnosed with Lung Cancer on Friday, February 24th. She woke up last Tuesday (Feb. 21st.) barely able to breathe and was transported to Allegheny hospital in Wexford, PA. After several scans and tests, they found a good size mass in her left lung that after a biopsy ended up being cancer.

My mother who after meeting her for only five minutes you will feel like you knew her your whole life. She never once hesitated to help anyone in need and would rarely ask for anything in return. Now she will be facing the biggest challenge in her life. The challenge of the unknown.

She plans to be starting radiation and chemotherapy here in the coming days to face this beast head-on, but all of this comes with a cost. Not only a cost mentally but a major cost financially. She has insurance but as we all know insurance doesn't cover everything. She will need help covering copays, travel expenses, and regular living expenses as she will not be able to go back to work anytime soon.

I know she has many friends and family members who love her dearly. A lot of you have been amazing already, and I cannot express in words how forever grateful I am already for your support of her. However, I sadly need to ask for more help by doing any type of donation or even a share the link to spread the word. This will not only help her financially but will help show her just how big the army she has behind her.
