Hi, my name is Joshua Moon, and I’m writing on behalf of my amazing mom, Vicky Moon — a strong, compassionate woman who is now facing the biggest battle of her life.

A month ago our mom was hospitalized after suffering a stroke caused by a severe blood infection. Since then, she has undergone five major surgeries and remains in the hospital today. Her journey is far from over, with more critical surgeries still ahead.

This has been an incredibly difficult road, but Mom’s strength, faith, and will to heal continue to inspire everyone around her. If you know Vicky, you know how deeply she loves-always the first to lend a hand, encourage a friend, or brighten someone’s day without ever asking for anything in return.

Now, she needs that same love and support from all of us.

She’s been unable to work since her hospitalization, and the financial strain continues to grow. Between the rising medical bills, ongoing rehab, upcoming surgeries, travel expenses for our dad to remain by her side, and everyday living costs, our family is doing all we can — but we can’t do it alone.

We’re incredibly blessed to live in a small but mighty community — one that shows up when it counts. Whether it’s through a donation, a prayer , or simply sharing this page, every act of kindness makes a difference and helps carry my Mom through this fight.
