Help Vicky Beal get back on her feet.

Hi, we are all a close group of friends of Vicky Beal and we are raising money so she can have urgent knee surgery.

Vicky has recently been given the devastating news that she needs to have complete ACL and Cartilage reconstruction, following her recent fall from her beloved Tractor Betty.

She has been told that on the NHS she will need to wait 6-18 months, in which time she could make it worse and need a whole new knee. Alternatively she can go private and get it done in the next month. However she has been quoted £11k.

Why the urgency? As well as the medical aspect, the deterioration of her knee, pain etc Vicky still needs to work and support the farm over what is the busiest time for her livelihood, THE SUMMER ! If Vicky can get the operation done quickly and be back on both feet before summer and the hay and sileage season it will all be worth it.

This next part is tricky to word but I know from talking to many of you it makes perfect sense..

I'd like you to think about Beal and whatever she has done for you, whether it's an airport run, house sitting, a snow related rescue, pulling you out of a ditch, she may have run to the scene of a crime, cheered you up on a bad day, made you laugh, organising the tractor rally, raising money for a charity or good cause or basically everything she does daily and selflessly.

Between us all I think we can really help the girl out by putting some money together and giving it her a leg up. It won’t take much personally but collectively it will be massive.
