Hiya,

we are vicki and mariah and we currently live in supported accommodation. Things for the both of us have been beyond hell and we are desperate to get out of here, move into our own place and try to have a fresh start at life with a chance of recovery which neither of us feel that we have whilst we are currently existing here to tick all the services boxes and we are so desperately unhappy. Vicki is being dragged through court to be made street homeless by Lifeways/inclusion with fabricated lies and truly inhumane statements being made this has taken everything from her and she just wants somewhere safe with a roof over her head and somewhere we can call home. We have both been targeted for simply speaking the truth about our rights and because we have made complaints and raised safeguardings. These safeguardings have been upheld

and escalated to a multi agency safeguarding investigation. We both tried to reach out over the past year to anybody that would hopefully listen in the hope that things wouldn’t get this bad, wouldn’t escalate to this level but also ironically because we were trying to protect the service itself too even though we feel completely destroyed by all of this we have still tried to do our best by other people, whether that be other service users, ourselves or some of the staff who actually have stood up saying this is not okay. Those staff have now left service anyway due to not wanting to turn a blind eye. But we genuinely tried to protect them too but no body would listen despite us screaming even though we ourselves were drowning. For it to get to this stage where we are setting up a go fund me is not something that either of us would ever do partly as we do not feel worthy of other people’s good will, partly protecting the people in this service who have stood up for us and what is right but also because there can be so much hate towards people who set things up like this but it has got to the point now where this is having such a damaging impact on both of our mental and physical health conditions that we now can’t see any other way out and it has got so bad that this is the point we are at.

we are desperately trying to get out of here so we are currently looking for two bed properties that we can private rent however obviously with neither of us currently working due to mental & physical health & stress related to the daily grind of being in this service anyway lot of places are wanting six months rent in advance and under the circumstances this is not going to be a possibility however in the meantime we are both stuck here being super unhappy, not feeling at ease or at home and it’s a struggle to get by day to day and keep ourselves going to be honest as this feels impossible, never ending and we feel so trapped in a broken system when we are broken enough ourselves as it is and just getting worse day by day.

we would be massively grateful for any help, support and donations to help us to achieve this goal where we are working as hard as we can in our recovery and to see a light at the end of this very long dark tunnel.

stop supporting dishonest people who are taking liberties such as elphaba, CLA and such likes when there are people who are honest and being so genuine and just want a chance at a future after a fresh start.
