On Thursday night the world lost a father, a son, a friend, a husband, a brother.. Vicente was so loved by so many people.
Vicente was traveling along the Blue Ridge Parkway when he lost control of his vehicle and drifted off the road, hitting a tree.
He leaves behind his father, mother, and two children in Nicaragua, Esmerelda & Emanuel. He also leaves behind our son, Isaac.
Vicente has worked hard since the day he came to this country. Usually working 13 hours a day, 6 days a week to provide for me, Isaac, his parents, and his other kids. He was one of the most selfless people I have ever met. Always willing to help anyone or do anything he was asked.
Although Vicente loved me and Isaac very much, he often spoke of returning home.. He missed Nicaragua. He missed his kids. He missed his mom and dad. Vicente cried for his family everyday.. So that is where he needs to be.
His family and children have all requested that Vicente is sent home to be laid to rest. I am doing everything in my power to make that happen because I know that is what Vicente would want.
We have not found out all the details yet on how this will work. I will know more on Monday. All we know is that it's going to be expensive. We are asking for anyone to help.. Every dollar counts. Please help us get Vicente home to his family.
