Hi, my name is Helen, and I’m writing this on behalf of my sister, Vanessa Exposito, and myself.

Our amazing dad, Vicente Exposito, passed away yesterday unexpectedly. Just the weekend before, he was out on a bike ride, living life like he always did, with energy and no plans of slowing down. He was strong, stubborn in the best way, and full of love until the very end.

He raised us as a single father in Los Angeles, figuring it all out on his own. And he did an incredible job. He gave us everything: strength, humor, loyalty, and love. I owe so much of who I am to him, from my resilience to my wild sense of humor.

Now, we just want to give him the burial he deserves. Unfortunately, the cost of a burial is an arm and a leg, and in moments like this, it’s heartbreaking how expensive it all is.
