Long time Contra Costa Farm Bureau member and President John Viano suffered a massive stroke in late October. John is recuperating at home but still has a long way to go with mobility and speech therapy. Here is how YOU CAN HELP!
John is recuperating at home but still has a long way to go with his mobility and speech therapy. We are asking you to help us raise funds to support the Viano's with any special accommodations John may require and assist with medical costs.
Friends of the Viano's at Monterey Mechanical were very gracious in installing a ramp up to the house, at no cost. This gift made John’s transition from hospital to home much easier.
If you know John, he is tireless. He is a pillar of agriculture in California and Contra Costa County and has a passion for it that is rivaled by no one.
John never says "no" to any person or group that has sought his assistance. He has a great sense of humor and is always fun in social settings. Please DONATE TODAY!
Not only was he president of the Farm Bureau at the time of his stroke, he also was president of the Contra Costa County Winegrower's Association. He has also been a youth soccer referee, adult softball team captain and always a gracious host to various fundraisers for local sports, school events and charitable organizations throughout the years.
