Geoffs wishes

Sadly,  Geoff Millington passed away peacefully on Saturday13th February 2021, aged 60. 

Myself and my family are looking to raise money to be allocated firstly to local youth sports as well as to community care including district nurses, st Giles hospice and Marie curie.

The care provided for my dad by these organisations was better than what could have ever been wished for. We are so grateful for everything they did for us all, we want to do anything we can to give back.

Those of you who knew my dad will know he was a big character in Barton. He was a massive sports fan and a fantastic coach of football and cricket, he bought the best out of every child he coached. He became the chairman of Holland sports club for 6 years. He gave his life and soul to the sports club over the years and he wished to be able to do this still after his passing.

This is why instead of donations towards the funeral or flowers we are instead asking for donations to the charities and organisations that meant the most to Geoff.
