Hi everyone! We’re BSGE’s Helping Hands Committee!
For the past 15 years, our group has raised money and collected toy donations for our annual Holiday Toy Drive at Elmhurst Hospital's Child Life Program. The toys and donations go to children living with HIV/AIDS, and throughout the years we have raised thousands of dollars for the children and made their holidays just a bit more special. We want to make sure that Covid-19 doesn’t put a stop to this tradition, but we cannot do it without your help.
The hospital has been impacted drastically by Covid-19, and without our usual toy drive, many of the patients at the hospital won’t have a gift to unwrap this December. We are shooting for a fundraising goal of $2000, enough to give each child what they wish for this holiday season.
The pandemic unfortunately has made fundraising much more difficult, and thus your help would be immensely appreciated. If you have the means to do so, it would mean the world to us if you could make a donation. Our suggested donation is in the range of $5 to $10, but feel free to give only what you can. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and we hope that with your help we can meet and possibly surpass our funding goal.
