Help with Haileys Medical Expenses

Friends, family and wider community I reach out today in a desperate plea!

On Monday September 19th I got a call from my 19 year old cousin Hailey Suratt, she was in tears losing feeling in her hands and feet and barely able to walk we knew something serious was going on so i picked her up and drove her directly to the ER they did extensive testing and ended up sending her to St. John’s in Detroit where they did a spinal tap and discovered she had Guillain Barre syndrome it is a rare disorder in which your body's immune system attacks your nerves. It is very rare that someone so young contacts this disease and something we never expected.

as I’m writing this Hailey is currently unable to breath on her own and had been intubated until she regains the strength in her lungs to breath on her own. Thankfully this disease is non deadly and is treatable. Unfortunately it will take up to 4 months in the hospital and another 8 months of physical therapy for her to make a full recovery and regain all her strength.

Haileys mother Maria is employed however her insurance is not sufficient to cover all of the medical costs associated with this tragedy.

in closing, I am asking for YOUR financial support for Haileys medical and rehab expenses not covered by insurance and supplement loss off income so Maria can take as much time off work as necessary and help Hailey make a full recovery.
