Dear Image Salon Family & Friends,

For many years, our salon has held an annual fundraiser for someone battling cancer. This year, we are raising funds for Susan Holowecky, a long-time friend and missionary from Allen Park, Michigan. For 25 years, Susan has been dedicated to missionary work in the Amazon Basin of Peru. On a recent trip home to care for her 99-year-old mother, a routine checkup led to a devastating diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

In Peru, Susan has led a life of incredible service. She has saved the lives of high-risk pregnant women and malnourished children by running a shelter and has taught impoverished communities sustainable agriculture by helping them grow cacao. Her work has completely transformed their lives and livelihoods. Additionally, she independently raised five foster children, who, unfortunately, are unable to be with her now. Back home and facing costly treatment, Susan is navigating this battle with limited funds and insurance coverage.

All proceeds will go directly to Susan.
