My name is Lindsey, and along with my brother Travis, sister Joslyn, and our mom Mary Jane Christy Stratton, we are seeking donations to support our dear sister Heidi. She is bravely battling stage 4 colon cancer at the age of 45. Her family is facing mounting medical bills in addition to unexpected expenses like a new A/C unit and wisdom teeth removal for their son. Heidi is currently unable to work, and Garrett, her husband, has had to miss work to accompany her to doctors' appointments. We have created this GoFundMe page to alleviate the financial burden on Heidi, Garrett and their 4 children during treatment.

Heidi's health troubles began in October 2022 when her appendix ruptured. Due to infection, the doctors decided against its removal. Fast forward to early June 2023, Heidi was rushed to the emergency room with severe pain, and the doctors once again discovered an infection in her appendix. Further scans revealed cancerous spots on her liver, which were confirmed through a biopsy. Additional tests identified cancer in her colon. Yesterday, she underwent surgery to remove part of her colon and appendix, and a port was placed for her upcoming chemotherapy treatment.
