My name is Genny Thomas, I am a longtime friend of Whitney Thurman/Cargill's. I am setting up this Go Fund Me account to help get much needed relief for her family due to the recent Wimberely flood. Whitney, her two daughters and the family dog were fortunate enough to escape the waist high flood waters, but her home, along with everything in it, have been completely devastated. One cannot imagine the impact of this type of disaster unless it happens to you. I was there yesterday with a few other friends and her family so I was able to get an idea. At first glance, one asks themselves..."Where do we even begin?". It begins with people giving whatever they can to help turn a devastating situation back into a road of hope and recovery. With no flood insurance, this will be quite a challenge, so I am asking, please do what you are able so we can get Whitney and her family back into a safe, happy home as quickly as possible.
