Please help me secure some funds for two of my favorite people on this plant: Dave and Amy Thorne.
As some of your know, Amy was just 24 weeks pregnant when she went in for her check-up and received the worst news that any mother-to-be could hear. Her blood pressure was up, her liver was not functioning as it should be and her babies were not measuring as big as they should have been. Amy was transported to Swedish Hospital in Seattle so she and her babies could get the care they needed. She also was given a steroid shot to help mature her babies lungs. After a couple days in the hospital the babies were then delivered on Saturday, February 27, 2016.
Gunner Foxe was born at 1:22 AM and weighed 1lb 0.9oz and was 10.5 inches long.
Onalee Lorraine was born at 1:23 AM and weighed 1lb 3.8oz and was 11.8 inches long.
Both babies are strong fighters and remain stable in the NICU but have a long road ahead. Amy has posted on her facebook page the link to her CaringBridge account to provide updates.
None of us could imagine the struggles they are experiencing and all just want to help in any way possible. The best help we can provide is to donate some funds for the growing medical costs, missed days off work, and daily living expenses.
Please feel free to private message me if you have any questions. Any donations are GREATLY appreciated.
