Anna Grace Rawley Memorial Fund

Hello everyone, Thank you so much for considering donating to  the Rawley family. I am a long time friend and co-worker of Matt at Imagine East Mesa. We offered to start this campaign for them after the loss of their daughter this past week. All funds raised will be used to cover any costs associated with her memorial service or other hospital costs that were accrued. The Rawley family has access to the funds and they will withdraw the funds when they deem necessary. Below is the story of their beautiful angel. 

Allison and Matt's Story:

Matt and I were so excited when we found out we were pregnant with Baby #2 however it has been a tough journey.

On January 26th we went in for our 20 week ultrasound. Matt and Coleman thought it was a girl and I was convinced it was a boy. I will never forget seeing our baby's legs as they kicked and hearing a strong heartbeat. The ultrasound tech then informed us it was a GIRL...but in the next breath she put her hand on my shoulder and asked "Have you ever heard of anencephaly?". I hadn't but I knew it wasn't good.

We were then informed it meant her skull hadn't completely developed and therefore it was a "terminal diagnosis" that it made her "incompatible with life". Two phrases I hope never to have to hear again.

We decided we would continue to carry in hopes of being able to spend some precious time with our baby girl before she was called home.

On Monday, May 1st (just shy of 33 weeks) at 7:45am, Anna Grace was born. She weighed 2 lbs and 6 oz measuring 13 inches long. We were able to hold her and Coleman was able to meet her before she peacefully passed away in my arms at 9:35am. Although we are sad...we are very thankful that we got our time with her and have had the time to come to peace with her diagnosis.

We are also thankful for the support we have recieved from family, friends, strangers and the Dignity Health Labor and Delivery team.

Anna Grace Rawley will always be part of our family story.
