On January 13th Kristen and Nick went to the doctors as they both were not feeling well. Nick began coughing up blood and was admitted to the hospital. Krissy was told he had double pneumonia and kidney failure. Nicks condition worsened over night. Three days later on January 16th with Krissy and the two boys by his side Nick passed away. Krissy and the boys are absolutely devastated. Not only was Nick Kristen's husband but he was her best friend, her rock and the love of her life. Nick worked incredibly hard to provide for his family. Unfortunately Nick did not have life insurance. Kristen is responsible for raising two boys on a very limited budget.
