Nick of Time-Steered Straight!

My name is Lori Carbonaro. Our family decided since our school district is not immediately funding a program for our schools to educate and arm children, parents and communities against drugs during this Nationwide Epidemic, that we would do it ourselves! Steered Straight is a program that does just that! Since the passing of my son Nick-  I, along with many others have vowed to do everything in our power to save another child, family, loved one the horror of the evil that is addiction! This is what helps me survive the death of my son, keeps me sane and I know Nick would agree that we need Steered Straight in our schools! Presentations to Students  and a Parent presentation is what the funds will be used for.Michael DeLeon's presentation is both educational and personal - I have seen students, parents and faculty alike been effected in a positive way!  We would like to make this happen before Spring of  2016's school year! We would be grateful for any and all donations- Lets band together to make aware, educate and prevent addiction for our children and parents alike!! Please know this is not just  for me, or my son...this is for all who have children, thinking of having children, our grandchildren, our future!!
