As you all know Joseph Spicer security bar back, friend and family member of O'Leary's has been hospitalized since the beginning of August. During this time while in the hospital he has taken some turns for the worst, however he has beaten the odds and is currently stable. But his recovery is still a long road ahead. Not only has it been exceedingly difficult for his family, relatives, friends, coworkers, and family at O'Leary's to watch him battle an ongoing fight for his life, but it has also been devastating emotionally and financially to his siblings and nieces who depend on him.
Spicer is a staple at O'Leary's. For many years he has been the backbone of O'Leary's and to his family. He is well known to our community at O’Leary's not just for security but for friendship, advice, laughter and being a genuine honest and caring guy. Not to mention good looking. This man will and has given the shirt off his back to some. He is that person who will tell you like it is and he is certainly respected among his people.
He never hesitates to go above and beyond for people. He has given to many others financially, given many patrons a safe ride home, he keeps everyone safe, and he is that safe haven if ever you needed that time to vent and has always looked out for those around him.
Since being hospitalized his family has taken a great financial burden and they need our help. Now it is our turn as a community, and his friends to come together and give back to the one guy who gives his all to all. Anything helps! We love you Spice! We are all waiting for you and your bear hugs!
