Cantina 1511 was never just a restaurant to us—it was our family. Since 2004, this place has been our sanctuary, where we’ve grown not just as employees, but as individuals and as a tight-knit team. We've celebrated life's ups and downs together, just like we celebrated with our cherished patrons through birthdays, engagements, and countless warm, memorable moments.

The Storm We Didn’t See Coming

COVID-19 was a storm we weathered as a team, adjusting to a quieter restaurant and adapting to the changing times and we thought that Cantina 1511 had made it through it relatively unscathed. And, Cantina 1511 was running smoothly, or so we thought. Beneath the surface, however, Cantina Management had racked up immense tax debts and unpaid vendor bills. Without any warning, checks began to bounce, wages were delayed, and rent fell overdue. The unsuspecting staff, loyal and passionate about the restaurant, continued to work tirelessly, hoping to navigate through these sudden challenges. However, with no support from the far-away owners and an unforeseeable future, the situation became unsustainable. And without notice, the doors were closed.
