My oldest daughter Dami Juliana (7) is a type 1 diabetic. A few weeks ago she had a seizure in the middle of the evening which caused her mother and I great hearache.     There are very few situations that will arise emotions of hopelessness and anguish. As I turned around to see my wife drop to her knees crying out to the Lord,  I thought,  " is this that moment ...the moment of losing my daughter?"  


Dami has  recently become aware of a Diabetes monitor to protect her from having low of blood sugar and seizing again.

After discussing the option she was so motivated to have it, she suggested we do a lemonade stand to raise money. Then she decided to take pieces of scrap wood and write words like love, hope, peace and asked if she could sell them. After many people generously asking to start a fund, here it is.

After people started showing interest she asked if we raised more money, could it be donated to other families who are unable to afford the Diabetes monitor and ongoing upkeep! Such a precious girl.
