Recently I graduated from Marietta High School and although it is bittersweet, I am SO excited to see what's next for me. I have prayerfully decided to take the road less traveled after high school, rather than going straight to college, and am excited to say that I will be pursuing a gap year program through Youth With a Mission ("YWAM").
YWAM is a gap year program that is designed to help students like me to better know God and make God known. For three months I will grow in my relationship with the Lord through daily teaching, weekly prayer and worship, all of which will prepare me for a two-month trip with an outreach team to a missions destination that is not yet known.
This journey will mean stepping out of my comfort zone and trusting that the Lord has a plan and that He will provide. Although I am not sure what the Lord has in store for me in the next several months, the choice of joining YWAM this fall has proven to be clear, and I am trusting that this is where I am being lead to go. I am so excited for the new people, places, and adventures to come.
There are two ways in which you can help me in my upcoming journey. The first and most vital need is for your prayers, prayers for me and for the ministry I will be a part of. The second need is financial. I will need and deeply appreciate both your prayer and financial support, for both of these are the things necessary to make this journey a reality.
The ministry costs are expected to be $6500 which includes housing, ministry training, airfare and other related expenses. Thank you for taking the time to read about my plans, your prayer and support will be greatly appreciated!
