Everyone who knows Corey knows he’s a fun loving guy, goofy, and always laughing! On the morning of March 5th Corey’s life was forever changed as he was struck by another driver traveling the wrong way on the highway. Corey was transported via air-care to UC hospital where he was placed on life support. Corey’s injuries were so severe that they required brain surgery. He has multiple fractures to his face, broken ribs, and damage to both eyes. Although he has sustained such horrific injuries doctors say he has been improving daily since he was brought in that morning. Thank God!

Unfortunately Corey does not have any type of medical insurance coverage at this time. Corey’s family need our emotional support and prayers during this unimaginable time but they also need our financial help. After going home, the cost of care will still be challenging, and likely months of rehabilitation will continue to be a financial burden to Corey’s family. We know Corey will have the strength and courage to face the pain and the hard work of rehabilitation, and will have the grace needed to face the difficult days. But his courage can't touch the gap with the health care costs. That's something outside of his reach at this time.
