On Saturday, October 17, my 9 year old niece Isabella was in a terrible accident when she and her dad where hit by a man that was driving under the influence.

Isabella was air lifted from Sunnyside Astria Hospital to Harborview Hospital in Seattle where she is currently in the Intensive Care Unit . Isabella suffered lacerations to her liver and spleen that caused internal bleeding. She immediately underwent surgery upon arrival at Harborview Hospital in Seattle. Isabella had to get multiple blood transfusions, plasma transfusions, and had to have her spleen removed during surgery. Isabella has a fractured left shoulder blade. She is currently undergoing additional tests for her leg and arm with suspicious of fractured ribs. She currently has a breathing tube due to her bruised lungs not functioning properly 100 percent yet.

Although we cannot eliminate the tremendous emotional stress my sister is undergoing, we can all help to minimize the financial uncertainty that follows. Every dollar donated will provide more resources to my sister Elida and her two other children as she cares for her daughter Isabella.
