On May 16, 2015 my sister Christel  was in a sky diving accident which has left her  in the critical care unit of the Vancouver General Hospital. She broke her hip and pelvis and has as DAI brain injury. Christel has not been conscioussince the accident. While the prognosis is hopeful it will be a long road.
Due to the nature of Christel's head injury the  doctors are unable to tell us when she will regain consciousness.
As you can imagine we want to be sure one of her family members is with her when she wakes up.  While Christel remains in Vancouver our costs to support her are escalating.
Any money raised that is not needed to cover this will go towards Christel's  expected, lengthy rehab.
