Please Help My Sister excess skin 250 lbs lost

Hello friends and family, it has been a while since many of you have seen or heard from my sister Jacqueline “Jac” Perry Guzman. For a long time she was in “hiding” and now it is time for her to “come out.” There have been issues.

Unfortunately, she had a few health problems and scares. But she has since corrected many of them. Since October 2020, she has been on a wellness journey to get healthy and improve her quality of life.

She described her life as “depressing” and being “sad” and not living but existing. She made a decision to change this drastically.

She went from being morbidly obese with several comorbidities and being very unhappy to getting weight loss surgery in May of 2021and losing an astonishing amount of weight. She worked very hard and remained disciplined.

She was able to lose more than 250 pounds and became the example her doctors use for other patients. Before my sister began her wellness path, she was on several diabetic and blood pressure medications and I am happy to report, she is no longer taking them.

At this time, we are humbly seeking support for Jac to receive medical procedures off-island to remove massive excess skin to further her journey and make her feel more normal and look more natural.

After all Jac’s hard work and weight loss, she does not look or feel normal or natural with the amount loose skin left behind which is a painful reminder of her past life and hurtful experiences.

My sister is desperate to complete this transformation of her life and physical body. She describes the excess skin as unsightly, dreadful what makes her feel most unattractive. To have it removed would be a dream come true for her.

It has been a difficult struggle and it is not close to over yet. Every day, she is hard at work to get stronger and healthier. We would be grateful for any help to further her efforts toward this life changing experience. We are aware of and worry about the risks and potential danger involved but my sister is willing and prepared to face them.
