Support for Abbie

Dear Friends and Community,

I am reaching out to ask for your support for my dear friend Abbie, who is facing an incredibly challenging time. Recently, Abbie experienced a severe medical episode that has resulted in significant injuries to her face, mouth, and teeth. She has a broken cheekbone, a fractured jaw, severe lacerations to her lip, and broken teeth. Abbie is about to undergo major facial surgery in Hobart with the hope of repairing her multiple severe breaks. The doctors are still investigating the cause of her seizure, not knowing if it will reoccur and as a result, her driver's license has been revoked.

Compounding Abbie's difficulties, her youngest son, Arlo, is currently in the hospital with his dad by his side. This situation makes it even harder for Abbie to access the care she needs while also worrying and caring for her son. Those who know Abbie are well aware of her selflessness and her unwavering commitment to others. She always puts everyone else first, and now she needs our help.

Abbie is incredibly proud and doesn’t like to be a burden or ask for help, but this is our chance to show her just how special she is to us. We are seeking donations to cover the costs of Abbie's medical care, including dental treatments and travel expenses, as she is no longer able to drive herself. Your generosity will go a long way in easing Abbie and Daniel's burden during this trying time.
