Bluegrass Pug Rescue Heartworm Pugs

Boris, Bashful, Happy, and Smiley all came to us Heartworm Positive.  Heartworms are very easily preventable - once a month heartworm preventive is inexpensive and nearly 100% effective.  These Pugs were surrendered to us with heartworms - a 100% fatal condition if not treated.   Bluegrass Pug Rescue is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to rescue abused, abandoned, homeless unwanted, sick or injured Pugs, rehabilitate them and place them into loving, permanent adoptive homes in Kentucky.  We work hard all year to raise necessary funds for the necessary medical care for the Pugs we rescue.  Heartworm treatment is relatively expensive - ranging from around $500 to almost $1500 per dog.  We had four heartworm positive dogs surrendered at nearly the same time.  Our finances will be nearly exhausted covering the expenses related to bringing these four Pugs back to health.  We need your help.  Beyond your thoughts and prayers, we need your financial support.  Will you consider helping us with this financial burden.   Boris, Bashful, Happy, and Smiley thank you in advance.  Be sure to follow us on FaceBook.  Thank you!
