One Town, One Team, One Goal: Kevin Garcia's Fight

In Our Family, No One Fights Alone!
Kevin was diagnosed with Anaphylactic Large Cell Lymphoma Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma- Stage 3 Cancer last July. This is a very rare and aggressive cancer in children.
So far, Kevin has undergone two rounds of chemotherapy, as his cancer came back after the first treatment. In August, Kevin will undergo a third, very intensive treatment. As part of this treatment, he will have surgery to have a central broviac (chemo port) placed in him before undergoing a bone marrow transplant. This transplant will kill off all his cells so that he may receive good, healthy cells.
Kevin will be hospitalized for 6 to 8 weeks after the transplant and will be extremely immune-compromised for the next year. He will need multiple follow-up appointments and procedures after the transplant to ensure his cancer stays in remission and to ensure Kevin’s body is not rejecting the transplant.
On behalf of The Chino Valley Youth Football and Cheer Family, we are asking for your help for Kevin and his family during this time as they navigate this journey.
