VGO is back and in full swing with one of the most amazing VGO projects yet - the 60th Anniversary of the classical guitar royal family: Los Romeros! It's been a little while since our first three big projects (Kaleidokithara; Scient, Safe and Sane & Relampiños) have taken place but we have been busy in the meantime. With the generous support of The Augustine Foundation and close guidance by Stephen Griesgraber of Augustine Strings, we have managed to offer our services to not one, not two, but 11 state ensembles and 1 honors ensemble from all around the US! We are so privileged and honored to have been bestowed with this important task, and we are excited to share a few first ensemble performances with you today.
Now, it's time to kick it big yet again! Who has created more love for this instrument than Los Romeros?! The living legends are celebrating their 60th anniversary of concertizing and it's time to give them a proper recognition - a permanent video celebrating their excellence by showcasing a newest version of their most acclaimed showpiece called Malagueña with guitarist all over the world joining the effort! Maestro Pepe Romero wrote a piece called Malagueña de Jotron for this very occasion and we will be premiering it!
The fundraiser comes with many perks:
Tier 1 & Bonus Gift: You're a Rockstar!
If you donate $350 or more you will get the photo, the score and a bonus DVD with the special edition video! You will also be recognized recognized on our YouTube & website!
Tier 2: You're the Best!
If you donate at least $250 you will get both the photo and the score signed, plus you will get recognized on our YouTube & website! Also, you are the best! :)
Tier 3: You're a Champ!
If you donate at least $200 you will get a signed score of the Malagueña de Jotron, written for the occasion by Pepe Romero, plus you will get recognized on our YouTube & website! Thanks for a champ!
Tier 4: You're Awesome!
If you donate at least $100 you will get a signed photo of the quartet plus get recognition in the description of the YouTube video & our website. Thanks for being awesome!

Q: WHO WILL PARTICIPATE?
A: The 4th VGO project's core group of soloists will consist of members of the Romero family, their students and friends. The full line up will be announced soon! Joining them will be all of YOU!
Q: WHO WILL BENEFIT?
A: All of us! Making music, together, playing alongside our heroes, is a dream come true!
Q: HOW WILL THE FUNDS BE USED?
A: We are planning to use them for audio and video editing, mixing and mastering production, buying video templates, financing all the hours putting the video together (more than 300!) and also (wink, wink), awarding celebratory Romero stipends to 5 lucky recipients!
Q: HOW SOON DO WE NEED THE FUNDS?
A: We are almost ready to go with this project, so let's start this fundraiser!
Q: CAN MY ENTIRE CLASS JOIN?
A: We have a program that will feature your school or University logo as well as display all of your participants in an exclusive animated frame in exchange for a small contribution. Please get in touch with us at [email redacted].
Q: WHAT DOES THE SUPPORT MEAN TO US?
A: It means everything. It means that you all believe in us, that we can create common good for the artistic community, that we can bridge artistic gaps, that we can unite the love for the guitar across all platforms. It means that music on the guitar assumes a meaningful presence in all our lives and it means that we can truly show our love and devotion to the legends of our instrument!

A: Simple. We will continue creating these amazing projects, uniting superstars of guitar with all the guitar lovers around the world and continue building the scholarship funds for all of you out there!
