Guitar Teacher Needs New Guitar
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Paul. In my younger days I was a bit of an amature musician. I played guitar and bass for a few garage bands, did a little gigging, and thought I might one day become a rock star. Things didn't work out that way, and I went on to get married, have a daughter, and work into a normal, average career.
Along the way I sold off most of my amplifiers, kept guitars that had special meaning to me, and moved on.
Now that my daughter is almost to the age I was when I picked up my first guitar, I've started down the path of teaching her to play. I hope to instill the same love of guitar and music that I developed over the years, and I hope to eventually become a more competent teacher than I was a guitarist.
This leads me to my ask. I’ve always dreamed of owning a Gibson Les Paul guitar, and I’d like to ask for your help in buying me my dream guitar that I can use as a budding guitar teacher as I develop the skills to teach others to play. I hope to use this guitar to sharpen my teaching skills, and possibly take on additional students so I can share those skills further. Finally, I hope to one day pass this guitar on to my daughter as she takes her journey with music in directions I never did.
If I am unable to reach my goal, any and all funds will be used to pay for equipment and teaching materials, such as sheet music, books, strings, etc.
Unlike other campaigns, I don’t have much to offer to donors beyond my thanks, and a little more music in the world.
Thanks for reading.
