Hello family and friends,

As you all may know, our dear friend Ruben has gone through some difficult times. On May 3, Ruben experienced a medical emergency. He was diagnosed with Congenital Heart Failure and placed on life support. Thank God he was able to come out and was recovering at a nearby rehabilitation center, but as of Thursday, July 6 he is back at home. He is currently recuperating and receiving intense physical therapy to regain his strength and range of motion.

Due to the over two-month-long hospitalization, he has fallen behind on his financial responsibilities. He will also have to be on a medical leave of absence from work for his recovery, new diagnosis, and way of life.

Together with the help of his family and friends, we have started a GoFundMe to help him pay for his medical expenses, rent, bills, and future rehabilitation costs.

No amount is too little, anything can and will help.
