Help Lucas fight cancer!

Hi, my name is Lori. I’m making this fundraiser on behalf of one of my best friends, Lucas Lord. Lucas and I have known each other since the 4th grade. He has supported me over the years without question. He now needs help while he battles for his life.

At the end of 2019, he was diagnosed with tongue and throat cancer. After surgery, chemotherapy and radiation, he was gratefully in remission. That remission unfortunately came to an end in November with an aggressive reoccurrence.

He goes for an appointment this week to see when he will have to get his entire tongue removed, as well as a tracheotomy. He will also be getting a feeding tube and undergoing his second round of chemotherapy and radiation.

If all this isn’t bad enough, he recently lost his job and is uncertain how he will be able to work as he fights this battle. Lucas has full custody of his beautiful, youngest daughter, Faith. His life is already about to change drastically. This fundraiser is to help ease the upcoming burden of living expenses and medical fees.
