Anyone that knows the Wards knows that Haley and Brian are always the first people to give to others. For their family, friends, and often people they don’t know, they are always giving. Haley works as a nurse and she is the true definition, constantly caring for others. Brian is one of the hardest workers you will ever meet and is always the first person to offer a hand. For those of us that have been helped by them, we know they never accept anything in return and we also know how private they are.

Haley gave birth to beautiful Dorothy on March 15 after a traumatic delivery. After spending 9 weeks in the hospital they are FINALLY home. After 9 weeks in the hospital, 8 of those in the ICU, and countless medical tests and procedures, Dorothy now has a tracheostomy. All because of 2 vocal cords.

Haley has spent her entire maternity leave in the hospital with her baby. Now that they are headed home (to the beautiful home they just bought this year) the last thing Brian and Haley should have to worry about is money. They deserve time at home with their baby to welcome her home and spend time together as a family processing what they’ve been through. I would love to be able to raise enough money to pay their mortgage for 2-3 months so they can focus on the things that matter instead of worrying about bills.
