Debora Adams - Campaign for Healing

Donation protected
This Campaign is not just about healing but about living.

My name is Debora Adams and I was diagnosed with stage three Ovarian Cancer on December the 19th, 2013. I will never forget that day, it was if the time had stop and the earth stop moving, I was beyond crushed, I was devastated! Fear enter my heart and sweep my soul into a deep place of uncertainly and I was not sure what to do next.

I am here sharing my story and seeking your partnership, not because of my fear of dying, but I want to opportunity to LIVE.

My life has not always been easy, I was a single mother of four not by choice but I did that best with what I had to make a good living for me and mine.

At the age of 47 I got married to the love of my life only to find out that my husband had allot of anger issue which he took out on me both physically and mentally. For 2 1/2 years I dealt with living a life full of fear, hurt and shame. Finally I was brave enough to file for divorce in May of 2013. It took a whole year for the divorce to be finalize. Not long after me filing for a divorce, being free to live, and love life did I find out that I had ovarian cancer, it was like my freedom to live was snatched away again.

On November 20, 2013 I was in a car accident at work, and had to get regular check ups due to the pain. Not long after my accident, my stomach started swelling, which is why I went to the doctor and that is when they told me I had cancer.  With no health insurance, this was a scary situation to be in.

I had been getting treatment for six months, which was unsuccessful, and now I am on new treatment and I am very hopeful and have the faith that I will be healed. I trust in Gods plan for my life, not sure what it is, but I trust that he knows what is best.

What really gave me the desire to create this Campaign for living and seeking out funds was when I lost my brother. He was taken way to soon and so sudden on April , 28 ,2015. This has not only left an emptiness in my life but it has affected my whole family.

Life is so short, yes I need help with my medical expenses God know the financial burden this journey has been, But I want an opportunity to travel Atlanta or New Orleans, I have always wanted to visit there. At the age of 53, I want to say that I am living my life to the fullness despite my diagnosis. Help me on my journey, on my campaign to LIVE.

Thank you in advance, no amount is to small or large, I am just grateful.
