Hi, my name is Mari, and I’m from California. I’m reaching out with a humble heart to ask for help for my Chihuahua, Bella. Bella isn’t just my dog— she’s my family, my best friend, and the one constant in my life. Anyone who has grown up with a pet knows they become part of you, and Bella has been part of my everyday life for years.

Bella is currently facing serious medical issues that require urgent veterinary care, including testing, surgery, and ongoing treatment. As many people in the Bay Area know, veterinary care here is incredibly expensive, and the costs have added up faster than I ever imagined. I’m doing everything I can, but I can’t carry this alone.

What makes Bella so special is the role she’s played during the hardest chapters of my life. She was there when I lost my dad, sitting with me through grief when the world felt unbearably quiet. She’s been by my side as my mom battles chronic illness and Alzheimer’s, giving me comfort on days when caregiving felt overwhelming and lonely. Bella has been my emotional anchor — my number one supporter — and in many ways, we’ve grown up together.

We don’t give up on family, and Bella is family. Every donation will go directly toward her vet bills, surgery, medications, and recovery care so she can live without pain.
