Our sweet miracle child, Parker, has Cerebral Palsy. He has struggled and overcome so many obstacles, and done so with never-ending joy. We are finding that the older he gets, the more extreme his needs become.

Parker had surgery this summer to have a G-tube placed in his stomach. His body was not able to function on normal nutrition alone. We now have substantial expenses including a special formula, tubes, IV bags, etc.

On top of these additional expenses, we desperately need all kinds of equipment to support his needs.

There are many more expenses than the ones I have here. These are just the pressing needs for our boy. If you were to total up all of the expenses, it would be well over $100,000, even with our current insurance plan.

We want to provide every possible opportunity for our son, and we have reached the point of not being able to do it on our own. Parker has needed a new wheelchair for over a year, amongst other equipment. Because we cannot afford a wheelchair van, we are currently using a manual wheelchair that he is outgrowing now. We also have to lift him into the van, and he is over 100 pounds. We are getting to the point where leaving the house with him is not probable.
