We ask for your help with our dad, Juan Ramón Guarnizo, who was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer in November 2021. The cancer metastasized causing a tumor in his femur on his left leg. Our dad is 56 years old.
In the second week of December 2021, our dad went through two surgeries in Jackson Memorial hospital. Where they removed the left side of his kidney and the tumor in his leg.
A month after his surgeries, our dad must continue treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy for a prolonged amount of time as advised from his doctors.
Our dad is a very energetic person, a hard worker and a warrior that his willing to fight this disease. Unfortunately ever since he was diagnosed with cancer he has been unable to work and generate any income. All of us, his kids, are trying to cover all his expenses as much as we can, but the costs are just too much. Our dad does not have medical insurance so we are paying for his treatments in full and it is just something we cannot afford to do. For this reason, we ask for your help. Even the smallest donation, will be a blessing to our family.
Our dad hopes to continue fighting this cancer and be able to live and enjoy life next to his wife, kids, and grandchildren.

Pedimos ayuda para nuestro padre, Juan Ramon Guarnizo, quien fue diagnosticado a fines de noviembre de 2021 con cáncer de riñón en etapa 4, el cual hizo metástasis, creando un tumor en el fémur de su pierna izquierda. Mi padre tiene 56 años.
Debido a esto la segunda semana de diciembre de 2021, mi padre se sometió a dos cirugías de alta complejidad en el hospital jackson memorial, en la que le extirparon el riñón izquierdo y el tumor en el fémur.
Luego de casi un mes de sus cirugías, mi padre debe continuar un tratamiento de quimioterapia, inmunización y radioterapia, por un periodo prolongado, establecido por sus médicos.
El es una persona muy enérgica y trabajadora ,un guerrero batallando contra esta enfermedad , pero desde que fue diagnosticado no ha podido generar ningún ingreso y nosotros sus hijos hacemos todo lo posible por cubrir todos los gastos que están a nuestro alcance ,pero este tratamiento se sale de nuestras manos, debido a que mi papá no cuenta con un seguro médico nosotros debemos cubrir el valor total de su tratamiento ,el cual es bastante elevado, por eso acudimos a ustedes para solicitar de su valiosa ayuda , ningún aporte será pequeño, por el contrario es una bendición para nuestra familia .
El deseo de mi papá es poder seguir luchando y ganando la batalla contra esta enfermedad, tener una calidad de vida y estar junto a quienes lo amamos (su esposa, hijos, nietos)
