On November 3rd, 2020 Honduras was hit with hurricane ETA bringing heavy rains, deadly landslides and strong winds.
Dozens of people had to abandon their homes in the early hours of Thursday when water was reaching their doorstep. Others were convinced that it wouldn't get as bad as it got, and now they are trapped in their roofs, waiting to be rescued by boats. Many families have lost their homes, businesses and even loved ones; some families have been separately displaced and can't find their children.
As you may already know, a vast population of our country is submerged in poverty, therefore, the less fortunate need us more than ever.
I started cooking meals in my kitchen and taking them to shelters, but so much more help is needed!, so, I decided to raise funds to donate non perishable foods, masks, antibacterial gel, personal hygiene items, baby care, diapers, baby formula, blankets and sleeping mats.
