2nd case 2018 - Dismissed - University of Metaphysical Sciences Lawsuit
International Metaphysical Ministry Incorporated et al v. Schaefer et al, CASE #: 4:2018cv04524-SBA. This case accused UMS of running Google ads it did not run. UMS showed its Google Ads negative keyword settings with IMM's names on the list, which prevents an advertiser's account from running ads or bids with those search terms.
In 2019, a mutual trademark agreement was made, but had no liability and no money was exchanged. Case was dismissed.
3rd case 2021 - Dismissed - University of Metaphysical Sciences Lawsuit
International Metaphysical Ministry Incorporated et al vs Wisdom of the Heart Church, Case #: 4:21-cv-08066-KAW. Again filed by International Metaphysical Ministry, doing business as University of Sedona and University of Metaphysics, accusing UMS of Google ads it did not run. UMS produced once again its Google Ads negative keyword list that showed International Metaphysical Ministry's names on the list. Negative keywords prevent ads or bids on the search terms on the list. Case dismissed. (Docket. 216)
