Over the weekend, devastating floods hit Milwaukee County, and our best friends Lance Agbuis, his wife Nessa Agbuis, and their three children were among those hardest hit. Their home in West Allis suffered catastrophic damage.

The basement, which held a finished bedroom and living space, took in 9 feet of water, destroying everything inside along with cherished memories and treasured family photos. Making it unlivable. The first floor took in over two feet of water, causing even more destruction and heartbreak. Everything inside is ruined, and they are now facing the overwhelming task of starting over.

To make matters worse, their homeowner’s insurance will not cover the cost of the damage, and FEMA assistance is not currently available. On top of losing much of their home, two of their four family cars were flooded and are no longer drivable.

Lance and Nessa are the type of people who would give without hesitation to anyone in need always the first to help, never asking for anything in return. Now, it’s our turn to lift them up in this heartbreaking time.

While belongings can be replaced, a home is irreplaceable. We are asking for your help to raise funds so they can rebuild, repair, and replace what they’ve lost.
