Damon's Hospital Recovery Fund

On Friday the 24th my father Damon was admitted to Medstar Montgomery Medical Center over concerns with his heart, concerns that have been present for about six months following a previous hospitalization. Upon being admitted, it was found that his heart was operating just above the level that would require immediate and drastic medical intervention. Additionally, he suffered a stroke in the morning hours of Monday the 27 as a result of these heart complications. Unfortunately, as a result of this and the previous hospitalization his emergency funds are low. It is highly unlikely he will be able to return to work in the foreseeable future and probably will have to file for disability. Unfortunately, this process will take half a year at minimum following discharge from the hospital, and my dad needs financial assistance for the basics of life to sustain himself, pursue rehab, and pay for medication while waiting for disability benefits.
