Hes home everyone!!!!! I picked him up last night. He was shaking, in a freezing cold garage but hes home and warm now thanks to you all xx

Hi.

My name is Jenny and I have a soft spot for animals in need.

I came across this cockatiel being sold on Facebook marketplace.

The owner agreed to sell it to me for £40. I dont really need any more animals but I just felt so sorry for it.

I arrived at the pick up spot 50 miles from my house to find the bird being kept in a pitch black freezing cold room at the back of a garage. There are no windows and the lights were all off in the middle of the day.

Its being fed on wild bird seed which it cannot eat.

The owner more than doubled the price to £100 when i got there claiming a misunderstanding! I didn't have £100 spare so had to leave.

Ive tried the RSPCA but they aren't interested.

If you have a few pounds spare to help me rescue this bird I would really appreciate it.

Its lived in this cage for over a year. No toys, no interaction. I dont know how its not crazy.

Thanks for reading

Jenny
