Help a Family Rebuild After Devastating Fire

Hi, I’m Alexis I’d never thought I would be making one of these but here I am.

On Wednesday around 4 pm, my brother called me while I was at work and said our apartment was on fire and my dog Ace was inside. I dropped everything and went straight home to find our entire apartment building filled with thick, black smoke. When the fire broke out, no one was inside at the time, but our pitbull Ace was trapped. Thankfully, he was rescued, but the damage was catastrophic.

My Family of 5 lost everything we owned. The authorities have now condemned our entire apartment, declaring it unsafe to live in. The realization that we have to start over is daunting, but we are grateful to have each other and our beloved Ace.
