Hi,

This is my mate Sophie.

She’s not had the easiest of lives but despite that she’s one of the most hilarious and big-hearted people I know.

I have set up this crowdfunding page because Sophie is in a really vulnerable and precarious situation right now and she’s not lucky enough to have family support to fall back on.

Sophie moved to Ireland a year ago with her husband and two children, as her husband’s family live there. The marriage has recently ended and Sophie was very isolated and unsafe staying in Ireland. She has therefore moved back to her hometown of Brighton alone to find work and accommodation so that she can set up a new life for her and her two children, Charlie and Orlagh .

Unfortunately, she has very little money in order to make this happen and there is very limited support in place to help someone in her situation.

Sophie is currently living in an air bnb until the end of this month without her children and is finding it hard to secure a job without permanent address.

Sophie is a woman without her children, without support, without access to money and without any security. I am therefore appealing to the kindness of friends and even strangers to contribute what they can to help a very vulnerable woman.

I am aiming to raise £3000 as soon as possible to cover a month’s rent and deposit for this incredible human.
