Dear Friends,
I am writing to you, as a member of the broad circle of lives that have been touched by Meadow Evans either through her healing work as a doula, a massage therapist or through the bonds of family or friendship. I know that I feel blessed to find myself in this circle, and imagine that you do, too.
This summer, Meadow is going to build a healing space on the property where she lives in Bolinas. This space, which she is calling the Chrysalis, will allow her to stand, grounded on the earth, and do her massage work in the place where she lives. Feet rooted, heart open, the power of the land will be able to move through her hands. It will also give her a place, a room of her own, to dance and meditate and hold singing and movement circles and to feed herself, so that she can continue to nourish and heal others.
This is where you come in… Will you join me in helping to fund Meadow's Chrysalis? The project will cost about $8000. Most of that money will cover the cost of the Yome (a hybrid of sorts between a geodesic dome and a yurt), and the rest will go towards building a foundation and bamboo flooring.
(This is the site of the future Chrysalis)
If you are able to contribute (and, truly, no amount is too small), you can do so either by sending a check directly to Meadow (P.O. Box 682 Bolinas, CA 94924), or by participating through this site.
There is a precious thread that ties our lives together, and Meadow stands somewhere at the center. Let us nurture those bonds through our support of her so that she can continue doing the profound healing work that she does in the community in which she lives. Let's do this!
A big thank you to Dianne Jones for the beautiful photos.
