Hi! I'm Sara and I LOVE to dance!
I am 11 years old and go to school but my passion is dance. I have been dancing all of my life and really want to be a professional dancer and a dermatologist when I grow up.
I went with my mom in January to Greensboro, NC to audition for Burklyn Ballet. I was so nervous, I was the youngest, and smallest. I did my best and hoped to get invited! I was so excited when my mom showed me the email inviting me to their program!!! I cried I was so happy!
Now, I have this opportunity to dance in their summer intensive dance program with Burklyn Ballet Theatre in Vermont. It's a 2 week camp with classes everyday and then performances on weekends. I will learn from and dance with some of the industry's best and REALLY want to go! And the money raised will go to my tuition, room and board, and my meals. I will be staying on campus with all the other dancers.
They only accept 85 dancers from the United States and in order to go I need your help to sponsor me! PLEASE consider being a sponsor.
I promise to do my best at Burklyn, learn from my experience, and bring back home the memories of a wonderful time.
If you can help sponsor I will be so thankful. I love dancing...I love dancing in my hometown with my dance studios, Centre of Performing Arts, Studio One, Inter City Ballet, and with my competition team. And maybe one day Broadway!!!
