Hunter's medical/recuperation fund

My son, Hunter is rapidly losing his vision due to the ravages of diabetes. He is working with his doctors to lower and stabilize his blood sugar and will be heading to UVa next month for eye surgery. Hunter will be unable to work for a minimum of 2 weeks and possible the entire month. He has health insurance but does not get any paid sick leave/PTO. During this time he will need expensive medical equipment to keep his head and eye stablized. He must remain in this contraption 50 minutes out of every hour/24 hours/day. Jean is working at night and caring for my precious grandson Bentley during the day. During the best of times they live paycheck to paycheck often having to decide between bills and medications. We are asking for help to keep them going through the month of June so Hunter can have the surgery, stop the deterioration of his vision and return to work supporting and loving his family.
