I am Caleb's Grama, I am positive God made me to be a Grandma. There is no other joy in life than a baby running up to you saying, " Grama is here!" And no worse pain than to have a sick baby you can not just put a bandage on and make the boo boo all better. Caleb needs more than a bandage.
Caleb was born on April 24th 2015, one month early. His two brothers, Brady Michael who is 3, and Beau Beau who is18 mo, were waiting at home with me, excited to meet "baby tummy", Brady thought that was the perfect name for his new brother. Soon after Caleb was born, Dr.'s discovered he had two holes in his heart, one the Dr.s told Caleb's Mommy was nothing to worry about. The second was going to be more worrysome. Caleb doesn't get the right mix of oxygen in his blood due to the hole making his heart not quite work right. He has problems breathing, due to fluid in his lungs, resulting from his heart not working the way it should. He has difficulties keeping food down also because of the combination of his heart and lungs not working together. Because of this combo he is down way below his birth weight.
 Our families wish is to raise enough money to have Caleb and his Mommy and Daddy flown to Seattle children's hospital to have his heart fixed. Mommy has been thrrough alot, and would love to have Daddy there as a support to them both. If we dont raise enough money to get them there and feed them while Caleb is healing up, life will be even more difficult for this young beautiful family.
