Help Me Go To Tanglewood Institute
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
Those who know me know that music is my passion and that my ongoing goal is to make it my career so that I can share that passion with others. As a young tenor, I am beyond excited to tell you of an amazing opportunity I have to study music at a level that I have not experienced before. Through the Tanglewood Institute Young Artists Vocal Program, I have the chance to elevate my vocal training, learn with (and from) talented students from around the world, and perform at the celebrated Seiji Ozawa Hall with Michael Tilson Thomas and other music professionals. I still can’t believe it!
The cost of this intensive training is high. I have recieved a scholarship from the Tanglewood Institute to pay for half of the program. But even with this generous scholarship and my own personal contribution, I still need to raise $3000 to attend, and I am looking for sponsors to help me reach my goal.
If you would like to help, please consider sponsoring me and/or sharing this request with others.
This year, I was thrilled to perform in the choir of Disney Theatrical/Paper Mill Playhouse's The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
I am also proud to have recently performed with Light Opera of New Jersey, Chester Theater Group, Trilogy Repertory Theater, and the Lord Stirling Players, as well as several choirs: Harmonium Choral Society, Continuo Arts Symphonic Chorus, Paper Mill Playhouse Broadway Show Choir, NAfME All-Eastern Chorus, NJMEA All-State Chorus and Randolph High School Chamber Choir. My recent honors include: 2015 Hal Leonard Vocal Competition - 3rd place winner, high school musical theater; finalist for high school classical voice (U.S. and Canada); National Society for Arts and Letters, 2015 Shirley Raab Winston Vocal Competition - state finalist, classical voice, and the Algonquin Arts Theater’s Rising Star Competition for classical voice (2014 and 2015).
This one-of-a-kind experience at Tanglewood would cap a truly fantastic year. It is my hope that through sponsorship I will reach my $3000 goal and be able to attend this summer program.
Thanks so much for your consideration!!!
