Hi, I'm one of the coaches for our VEX Robotics Competition Team 603 for Shaker Regional Robotics and the communities of Belmont and Canterbury, New Hampshire.

Our Middle School Division team (Team 603C - BIOHAZARD) received the Excellence Award at the NH/VT States Championship on Saturday, February 17th. This achievement qualified them for the 2024 VEX Robotics World Championships event in Dallas, Texas, on April 28th - April 30th, 2024.

We are setting up this GoFundMe to help cover student costs for lodging, transportation, meals, educational activities (such as field trips to museums), and other miscellaneous costs (such as parking or venue fees).

Any extra funds that still remain will be deposited into the Shaker Regional Robotics accounts to continue to support the and grow the programs.

We will update our donors after the World Championships and provide them with how the event went, how all our teams have done the 2023-2024 season, and what's on the horizon.

We just received notice that one of our High School Division teams (Team 603B - I DON'T KNOW) received an invitation to the World Championship! This is the fifth consecutive year IDK has qualified for Worlds!!

This is the first time Belmont is sending TWO teams to the VEX Robotics Competition World Championships! Because this is such an unprecedented event, we are now fund-raising for both events and have increased our goal to help cover all students.

Both teams are competing in separate events, which means a longer stay in Dallas. The HS Division Championship (Team 603B) will be held from April 24th - April 27th. The MS Division Championship (Team 603C) will be held from April 27th - April 30th. We will need hotel rooms from at least April 23rd through May 1st.

We have put together some numbers on cost for our students and coaches:

Transportation = $4,900 (includes gas, flights, bus, parking fees, etc.)

Hotels = $4,700 (18 hotel-nights for 8 total nights)

Food = $3960 (assuming $20 per meal per day per person)

Museums = $700

TOTAL ANTICIPATED COST = over $14,200
